Kain Label Pocket Tank in White - Worn before with Missoni shorts here

Only Hearts Venice Lace Cup Bralette in Black - Worn before with Equipment blouse here

Marta from Jewelry by Misa on Etsy sent me this gorgeous pendant necklace with a freshwater pearl.  It is about 18 inches long and gold filled.  I can imagine wearing this necklace in so many different ways and I really think the pendant has such a beautiful and unique design.  Marta makes each piece by hand and puts her heart and soul into the design.  She told me this was one of her favorite pieces.  I hope you will visit her Etsy shop.  This necklace is currently priced at $31.88 and would be the perfect accessory for many outfits.

These Fendi wood strappy sandals were one of those pairs of shoes I bought because they were on sale and I had liked them for a long time.  I don't normally buy white shoes, but I really loved these once I put them on my feet.  They go with a lot of summer outfits I have been putting together in this 90 degree heat.  I am obsessed with all the M Missoni items on Shopbop and this skirt has such cool colors and lines.  I think you can also wear it as a tube top, but I haven't tried it that way yet.

Givenchy Lace Up Wedge Bootie - Snagged off Yoox.com for $445 ( Retail: $795)

Sunner Parker Romper in Hunter - Snagged off Shopbop.com for $78 (Retail: $260)

Isharya Filigree Daisy Cuff in Gold - Gift from Boyfriend off Gilt.com

My wardrobe should be filled with hunter green colored things.  I found this romper a couple months ago in the 70% off section at Shopbop.  Admittedly I am a little leary about some of the items in that section and the reasons why they end up there, but I took a chance on this silky little romper.  It did not disappoint me.  The color is probably the best color out there for me to be wearing due to my skin tone and hair.  I paired it with my very comfortable Givenchy lace up wedges and Isharya gold daisy cuff.  You will never see me wearing a million rings on my fingers because it really gets in the way of washing my hands.  I like to wear bracelets a lot though.

On the blog I don't always smile in my photos, but if you met me in real life you would see that I smile and laugh most of the time.  The smile in these photos takes me back to long ago days spent jumping on my friend Therese's huge trampoline while listening to CDs from her stereo.  Therese got a job in high school about a year before I did and she bought that trampoline.  We loved to blast the music as loud as possible to annoy passersby and neighbors.  Therese got annoyed because all I wanted to play was Celine Dion's Falling Into You album.  Those were the days.

Chanel Camellia Diamond Ring - Birthday Gift from Boyfriend

CC Skye NANA Bangle - Gift from Boyfriend off Gilt.com

These photos were taken at our Aspen house before dinner with friends.  Suffice to say, I was the most dressed up in the place and I hate when that happens.  We went there a couple weeks ago so my boyfriend could attend some meetings.  I spent almost 8 hours shopping with my friend Christina on Saturday.  To say the least, I met my match when I found her.  She literally wore me out.  By the end of the shopping trip I think I was delirious even though I didn't end up buying very much.  I picked up a Rick Owens cardigan with holes going down the sleeves at MAX.  I also picked up the long disc earrings I wore a few posts ago at Henry Beguelin.  Christina introduced me to that store and I literally fell in love.  There are so many unique pieces there and the leather goods are beautiful.  Christina picked up a Givenchy bag for a steal and also a really cute silk top on sale at Gucci.  It is nice to have someone that will tell you the truth in terms of what looks good on you and what doesn't look so good.  She is the best person for that, plus she just has great taste.
