Ann Demeulemeester Lace Up Pebbled Leather Sandals - Snagged off Gilt.com for $329 (Retail: $750+?)

Grey Ant The Gift Skirt in Blue - Gift from Boyfriend

Nightcap Clothing Lace Poncho Tee in White - Snagged off Shopbop.com for $56.10 (Retail: $187)

The most painful part about this post and another one from a few weeks ago was the spelling of Demeulemeester.  I finally have it down and I was in a lot of spelling bees!  It is a pain in the butt when I am adding my keywords though.  Ahh, what we will do for fashion blogging.  These lace up sandals by Ann Demeulemeester are by far my most comfortable pair of heels.  Her shoes are made with your comfort in mind and I like how all my toes have space to wiggle.  The Ann Demeulemeester sale on Gilt was pretty intense, but I stuck to my guns and only picked out these sandals which were my favorite of all the shoes.  Anyway, this tee should be selling out like hotcakes.  I tried this Nightcap Clothing lace poncho tee on when I was in Aspen at Pitkin County Dry Goods.  They wanted the full retail price and they were trying to sell it to me in a size that was two sizes bigger than the size I am wearing in these photos.  I hate when people try to sell me stuff that obviously isn't my size. Luckily, my friend Christina put the axe down on that one and a few weeks later it popped up on Shopbop for 70% off.  I would say justice was served!  My sweet boyfriend bought me this skirt that I really wanted for a long time.  It came in black, but I thought the blue was different and the denim made the bow stand out more.  Anyway, how cool is the back of this top?  I told you I have a lot of sheer stuff.

Kimberly Ovitz Harold Knitted Linen Tank - Snagged off Net-a-Porter.com for $217 (Retail: $310)

Vintage Wrap Cuff Bracelet in Black/Gold - Snagged off Shoptoast.blogspot.com for $24

I can't help but wear my ASOS over the knee socks with these Giuseppe Zanotti wedges every time I pull them out.  It seems like the leopard print stands out on the wedge heel, while the black ankle strap and top of the shoe blends in with the black socks.  They were made for each other.  I finally found the perfect little black slip dress for layering courtesy of Revolve Clothing.  Who knew Anna Sui could make such a lovely little black dress?  I layered a loose knit Kimberly Ovitz tank over it.  Next time I wear this knit I will make sure it stands out more and pair it with something white.  I like knits that are long enough to be a dress, but entirely inappropriate as a dress on their own.  Everything I own for the top of my body either has holes or is sheer.  To me it seems normal, but I remember there was this one girl in my speech class in high school who everyone was mean to because she wore white tees with black bras.  I always liked this girl's style because she was different.  It's funny how times change.  I snagged this vintage gold and black wrap bracelet from Rumi of Fashiontoast.  It is easy to put on at the last minute when you are going out.  Well, I am full of scrambled eggs and banana pancakes so I think I am going to lay down and watch a murder mystery now.

Alexander Wang Iridescent Striped Tank in Multi - Snagged off Shopbop.com for $347.50 (Retail: $695)

CALi DREAMiNG The One-Piece Swimsuit/Body Suit in White/Medium Beige - Snagged off RevolveClothing.com for $64.80 (Retail: $154)

Siwy Jeans Madeline Studded Short in Gypsy - Snagged off RevolveClothing.com for $95.90 (Retail: $195)

Miu Miu Patchwork Wedges in Brown - Snagged off Barneys.com for $274.03 (Retail: $680) and worn before here with Jimmy Choo bag and Binetti blouse

I've wanted this Alexander Wang tank for so long and I finally took the plunge when it got marked down on the Shopbop website.  I can just see myself wearing it over and over with different things and layering throughout the fall.  Surprisingly, my boyfriend really liked it as well, even after I shocked him with the price.  This CALi DREAMiNG one-piece is great for those days when you don't want to wear a lacy black bralette.  I know you guys are sick of seeing me wear that same old one from Only Hearts, but I am telling you it is the most comfortable one I own.  I just like the idea of using my swimsuits in everyday outfits if I can get away with it.  Studs will never get old in my book.  I like how these denim shorts by Siwy ensure that the studs are not so symmetrical and matchy matchy.

Yesterday I went on a 20-mile mountain bike ride that was probably the hardest ride of my life due to the heat and crazy Fargo-like winds.  Today I gave my two toy poodles a bath and trim.  I love to groom them and I am pretty good at giving them a great cut.  They lead a sheltered life and I would not want anything bad to happen to them so I do all the work myself.  We went out tonight for sushi at Sushi Den and I made sure my edamame had extra salt because that's the way I roll.
