Barbara Bui Bootie in Gris - Snagged off ForwardForward.com for $258.75 (Retail: $690)

Some of you might think this dress looks familiar because I also own it in a long version that I wore all winter.  I had a hard time finding the shorter version and when I did I snagged it right away.  I love Nightcap Clothing's lace dresses because they have the softest jersey lining.  I feel like I could wear this dress to bed and still be comfortable.  The plunging back is a little big on me, but that's okay because I like being a little scandalous.  It is also a little short, but you only live once and I have plenty of time to wear maxi skirts when I am older.  This dress is the perfect little bohemian piece to have around for casual parties or a night out with your friends.  I think you could potentially put little lace bike shorts underneath it as well and it would still look cute.  Now if only I could find a dress similar to this in white I would be set for summer.

I tried this dress with two different pairs of shoes.  Forgive me for wearing my Chanel clogs all the time, but I am seriously in love with them.  They go with everything and they are quick to put on in the summer when I don't want to spend a lot of time jamming my feet into shoes.  I also found a new pair of shoes I am in love with and that I snagged for a steep discount.  They are even somewhat practical so my boyfriend was surprised to see that I picked them out.  These Barbara Bui grey ankle boots or as I call them cowboy boots are ultra comfy and have a little bit of that Isabel Marant vibe.  I bought them off Forward Forward and they are made in Italy.  These are my first pair of shoes by Barbara Bui and you will be seeing me wearing these all summer with denim shorts.  So which pair of shoes do you like better with the lace mini dress?

I think my two favorite brands at the moment are Stone Cold Fox and Elkin.  When you combine these two brands you create something magical.  I am wearing the Elkin rosellas jacket that I wore a few posts back, but this time I am wearing it closed with a little leather belt.  The jacket is silk, made in the USA, and extremely versatile so I think it was a good investment.  More importantly, I love it.  I thought I liked it more open, but now I think my opinion has changed and it looks even cuter closed.  For bottoms I wore these Stone Cold Fox lace jagger bells that I snagged for such a great price off of Revolve Clothing.  These pants are gorgeous and the crochet is beautiful.  I cannot believe what a great job Stone Cold Fox does with everything they design.  The sewing and quality is amazing.  My boyfriend even thought these pants were fabulous and complimented me on them.  I wish I could have everything from their latest collection.  This outfit is very bohemian and represents how I like to dress 90% of the time.

Fashion blogging has really helped me find my true style.  Back in the beginning I was trying out a lot of different looks and sometimes I still do that even now, but I see myself slowly settling into a comfy little bohemian existence.  I have been blogging for almost 2 years now, but it seems like I have been doing it forever because we take so many photos.  I was unsure of myself in the beginning and my boyfriend was unsure of his photography, but over time we both improved.  It is something we enjoy and we can do together.  Because of Fashion Snag I buy much more of what I love even if it isn't on sale and that is because I know I will wear it more than something I snagged at a deep discount, but wasn't crazy about.

Vince Split Neck Cropped Sweater in Grey - Snagged off RevolveClothing.com for $150.59 (Retail: $245)

J Brand Maria High Rise Legging Jeans in Starless - Snagged off Shopbop.com for $190 Retail

I finally found the best pair of jeans for my body type in the J Brand maria high rise.  I wanted a pair of high rise jeans for so long, but was doubtful on how flattering they would be.  However, for me they work wonders because I have a butt and a waist.  The low rise jeans are still fun to wear, but they dig into your hips and belly a little more than the high rise jeans.  These J Brand maria jeans fit like a glove and I don't feel constricted.  I think I could actually eat a pretty big meal in these and still feel comfortable throughout dinner.  It must be the power stretch thing they were bragging about on the label.

I paired the high rise denim with a cropped sweater by Vince that has inside-out seams.  I got this sweater for a great deal off of Revolve Clothing.  It is semi-sheer so I wore my Alexander Wang knit bra underneath.  I like Vince for all their sweaters and I have never had any quality issues with them.  I like the grey color with the dark blue denim.  For a pop of color I wore my highest Charlotte Olympia margo python pumps.  I love the green color and I never get sick of seeing it.  Something about bright green makes me very happy, probably because I associate it with spring and summer.
