Loyalty is underrated.  I look for loyalty in everyone I meet and I find it mostly in my pets.  They are the ones who never let me down.  Cruiser the labradoodle is probably my biggest fan.  He thinks I am awesome even when I am chilling in my sweatpants and old tees.  In fact, I think he prefers my dressed down looks the most.  When I get too dressed up he gets sad and frowns.  I guess you could say he isn't really picky about what a girl wears as long as she is ready to roll and she can throw a ball.  He is definitely my kind of guy.

After being in Aspen for a few days nothing can quite compare.  The scenic views make the cold and the winter pretty exciting.  Since I missed out while I was studying for my big test I am not as sick of winter gear as other people.  I am making up for lost time and pulling out all the stops.  These boots seemed perfect for the streets of Aspen and I wore my favorite combination for this look, a crop top and leather skirt.

I was up in Aspen over the weekend enjoying the beautiful weather.  There was a lot of snow, but it wasn't terribly cold so we really got to enjoy ourselves.  I always dress as practical as I can for the weather because I don't like to suffer for fashion that much.  You won't see me in any open-toe weather inappropriate shoes.  I am a sucker for a good thermal long sleeve top and this one fits the bill.  Peacoats are a classic piece to have in your closet, especially in navy blue.  Soft, stretchy jeans from Level 99 that you can easily slip on are great for travel as well.  These shearling boots with tread soles are the perfect compromise if you still want to wear heels.  To glam it up I wore my Chanel bag and a beautiful rose gold cuff that was a gift from Chelsea Charles Jewelry.
