Giuseppe Zanotti Lace Up Suede Booties in Peat - Snagged from Giuseppe Zanotti Design Boutique for $425 (Retail: $950)

3.1 Phillip Lim Quilted Leather Shorts in Black - Worn before here with YSL leopard ankle boots

Equipment Fanfare Polka Dot Blouse in Navy/Cream - Snagged off RevolveClothing.com for $140 (Retail: $218)

American Eagle Furry Vest in Brown - Worn before here with Miu Miu leopard ankle boots and A.L.C. leather skirt

I am getting more adventurous with my styling.  Usually I would do black shoes with this outfit, but instead I chose these green suede lace-up Giuseppe Zanotti boots.  I like the contrast of the military green with the navy and cream silk polka dot blouse.  I am wearing my American Eagle faux fur vest again.  I swear, I am on a faux fur vest kick or something because I keep seeing them all over and I also want to put one on over whatever I am wearing, no matter how ridiculous it might look.  This might be the first time I wore something two posts in a row.  Imagine that!

I lusted after this Equipment fanfare polka dot blouse for a long time, until a code popped up on Revolve Clothing.  I can see this with many things.  I plan to wear it with my bell bottom jeans next and maybe the faux fur vest or a faux fur coat.  I told you I am addicted.  The 3.1 Phillip Lim quilted leather shorts were a worthy investment because I have to tell myself not to wear them every day.  I love them that much.  These Giuseppe Zanotti lace up boots were a recent snag from all the shoe sales that have been going on and they are a 10 in terms of comfort.  I am sticking to my guns on only keeping the most comfortable shoes and sending anything painful back.

The video is about a recent Gilt purchase and the hazards of online shopping.  I think it is pretty good in comparison to my usual quirky videos.  You will learn something!

I really love this outfit.  Believe it or not, some days I look around my closet and think that I have nothing to wear.  I know a lot of you are rolling your eyes, but you know it happens to the best of us.  Well, I find this outfit to be really cute and weather appropriate for Denver, Colorado.  Best of all, I used some items I found during my closet clean out including the Abercrombie & Fitch long sleeve sweater and the American Eagle faux fur vest.  These Miu Miu leopard print ankle boots were worn in a previous post, but only lying on the bed so now you get to see them upright.  They are extremely comfortable.  I think I am going to come up with a shoe comfort rating scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being the comfiest.  I would give these a 10.  I think the platform really helps.

This A.L.C. leather skirt was a Shopbop purchase over the summer.  This is my first time wearing it because it finally got cold enough.  I saw it on the new arrivals and I know A.L.C. is high quality since I own a few other items so I snagged it right away.  I felt pretty good after I saw it had sold out, but then a month later they re-stocked it and I saw it on a bunch of other online shopping websites.  It is the perfect leather skirt because it is pretty thin and there is no weird ruching or draping.  It just has some basic seams and lays pretty well on your body.  I thought about changing the Abercrombie long sleeve to a maroon color instead of cream since I own both colors, but I ended up sticking with the cream.  Monochromatic seems to be my mood lately.  By the way, these ASOS over the knee socks are the best.  I now have a new order in at ASOS for these very same socks in mink, navy, and gray.  I know you are as excited as I am!

Oh, and please watch the video.  I talk about a movie that I really love and not a lot of people know about.  You don't want to miss it.  I promise.
