Equipment Silk Satin Boyfriend Shirt in Olive Night - Snagged off Saks.com for $78.99 (Retail: $188)

Crochet and lace shorts are everywhere so it is not surprising that they are the first pieces I pick out to wear in the morning.  I had these Stone Cold Fox chickie bloomers in white and I photographed them last year on Fashion Snag, but I always wanted them in black as well.  Planet Blue re-stocked with a ton of Stone Cold Fox items so as soon as I saw the chickie bloomers in black I snagged them because they were selling out so quickly.  Stone Cold Fox makes such beautiful pieces and they are very high quality.

I wanted to do something different on top besides the usual loose tank top thing that is the norm so I took out my military colored satin Equipment blouse.  I love the oversized fit of these blouses and something about army green in satin form really offsets the feminine crochet shorts.  I tied the blouse up and rolled up the sleeves because it was 90 degrees out.  Sometimes I get jealous of all the layering I see other people doing in other parts of the country, but as soon as it is summer in Denver it gets really hot so out come my short shorts and other scandalous apparel.

It is embarrassing to see how many Equipment blouses I own now.  I keep collecting more and I wear the heck out of them.  They are such great basics.  For shoes I wore my Ann Demeulemeester sandals that are part sexy, part utilitarian looking.  I have to say that Ann Demeulemeester makes some of the most comfortable Italian shoes I have ever worn.  I feel bad that I didn't get more wear out of these last year, but I hope to make up for it this summer.  They aren't narrow in the slightest and the heel is the perfect height.  I like everything about this sandal.  It is one of those shoes you have to see in person and put on your feet to truly appreciate.  I wore my large Chanel camelia hoop earrings that my boyfriend bought me in Las Vegas.  I cannot wait until my next Vegas trip in August.

We are experimenting with video more and more so see me in action in this outfit set to some music.

xoxo

Rebecca from Lingerie Please sent me this Henry Holland lace bodysuit.  It was one of my favorite picks from the Lingerie Please website.  It is extremely well-made and durable.  I had to get myself into it through the head/neck hole area and I was careful to take it slow so I didn't snag the bodysuit.  Once it was on the bodysuit was not itchy or scratchy as some lace items can be and it was really quite comfortable.  I really didn't know how to style it until I had it on and I could really see what it looked like on me.  Whenever I am styling lace I get into some Madonna vibe and I simply cannot help it.  I am a material girl so I styled it a little Cyndi Lauper, a little Madonna, etc.  You should see how tiny this lace bodysuit looks when it isn't stretched out on the body.  It really shows that Henry Holland uses strong, quality lace for hosiery.

All items the Henry Holland lace body is styled with are items I have worn before and photographed for Fashion Snag, including the wrap crepe skirt by Ann Demeulemeester.  This skirt was a snag off of Gilt and it is beautiful and soft in person, but oh so short on me.  I like to wear lace bike shorts underneath it when I wear it alone.  I thought the white silk crepe was a perfect contrast to the black lace.  For my top I wore a Free People tube top that has come in quite handy as outerwear and as a bra.  It actually stays in place quite well unlike other tube tops I have worn.  The Chanel necklace seemed like a nice piece to complement the neck line of the lace bodysuit.  The Burberry boots were the right shoes to toughen up the girly, lace look.  I realized I could really use a white crepe dress to style with the Henry Holland bodysuit for next time.

Ann Demeulemeester Lace Up Pebbled Leather Sandals - Snagged off Gilt.com for $329 (Retail: $750+?)

Grey Ant The Gift Skirt in Blue - Gift from Boyfriend

Nightcap Clothing Lace Poncho Tee in White - Snagged off Shopbop.com for $56.10 (Retail: $187)

The most painful part about this post and another one from a few weeks ago was the spelling of Demeulemeester.  I finally have it down and I was in a lot of spelling bees!  It is a pain in the butt when I am adding my keywords though.  Ahh, what we will do for fashion blogging.  These lace up sandals by Ann Demeulemeester are by far my most comfortable pair of heels.  Her shoes are made with your comfort in mind and I like how all my toes have space to wiggle.  The Ann Demeulemeester sale on Gilt was pretty intense, but I stuck to my guns and only picked out these sandals which were my favorite of all the shoes.  Anyway, this tee should be selling out like hotcakes.  I tried this Nightcap Clothing lace poncho tee on when I was in Aspen at Pitkin County Dry Goods.  They wanted the full retail price and they were trying to sell it to me in a size that was two sizes bigger than the size I am wearing in these photos.  I hate when people try to sell me stuff that obviously isn't my size. Luckily, my friend Christina put the axe down on that one and a few weeks later it popped up on Shopbop for 70% off.  I would say justice was served!  My sweet boyfriend bought me this skirt that I really wanted for a long time.  It came in black, but I thought the blue was different and the denim made the bow stand out more.  Anyway, how cool is the back of this top?  I told you I have a lot of sheer stuff.
