(IRO Leather Jacket, Diane von Furstenberg Top, Chloe Bag, Citizens of Humanity Denim Shorts, Express Tights, Valentino Boots)

This is my daytime look for my second day in Las Vegas.  One of my favorite standby outfits consists of pairing denim shorts with tights.  It keeps you warm while still allowing you to wear your summer shorts.  You can't go wrong with that.  It is perfect for the chilly, but not cold weather.  On top I wore a sparkly gold metallic long sleeve top.  This was one top my boyfriend suggested looked like something you would wear in Las Vegas so I packed it in my suitcase.  I thought the dressy feel of the top was great against the casual denim cut-off shorts.  On top I wore a leather motorcycle jacket with silver hardware.  I love to mix silver and gold in my ensembles.  The bag and the fringe boots have gold hardware and the metallic top has gold flecks.  Many people in Las Vegas commented on these low fringe leather boots.  They are so comfortable.  Valentino makes some really comfortable shoes!

(Diane von Furstenberg Jeans, IRO Cropped Sweater, Saint Laurent Fringe Bucket Bag, Michael Kors Sandals)

I am really feeling the seventies for spring.  I styled this look as a spring 2015 outfit.  It was a little too cold to actually wear it, but I loved shooting it and I look forward to wearing it as soon as it warms up.  I love the colors in this IRO cropped sweater.  It reminds me of Missoni and features holes and distressing in random areas.  I like the fit of it as well because it isn't too tight for a crop top.

I paired it with these amazing high waisted flare Diane von Furstenberg jeans.  Aren't they wonderful?  I love how they have the perfect fit at my waist with no gaping.  That rarely happens for me.  The dark wash is perfect as is the length.  I didn't have to wear terribly high heels for these jeans to look really good.  I think the secret to the great fit is the side zipper closure.

I styled the look with Michael Kors sandals that you can't see in the photos, but you can see them in an earlier post of mine here.  They were just the perfect height to make the jeans have the right silhouette.  My tan suede fringe Saint Laurent bucket bag works really well with all my retro looks.  See how I wore it in an earlier post here with light wash flare jeans and a colorful cardigan.
