It has been getting warmer in Denver, but for some reason I always feel cold so I carry a jacket with me.  If there isn't threatening rain I usually wear a leather jacket.  If I want to get around easily I throw on my trusty old black Converse sneakers.  These shoes have been on some adventures, both good and bad.  The dirtier and more worn-in they get, the more I love them.  I think that's how I like my people too.  This is a great look if you want to be stylish, yet comfortable.  You can't go wrong when you throw on a leather motorcycle jacket.  Start with a black leather one and let the addiction start.  Soon you will have more and more leather jackets.  That's what happened to me at least, but hey, I have an addictive personality.  The good thing about leather jackets is they last a long time.

As soon as I saw these Giuseppe Zanotti lace-up boots I was smitten.  I added them to my wish list right away and they started selling out like crazy so I had to snag them.  You never forget the shoes that got away.  You can live without them, but you always end up searching for them on sites like Yoox or eBay.  That is when you know it was true shoe love.  I paired them with an old denim mini skirt I have had for years and a trusty white tank that has been a staple since my early blogging days.  I have backups of this tank in both black and white.  James Perse keeps producing it so that makes it easy, but I am always afraid one day it will disappear so I keep a spare around in both colors.  This silky military green trench is just the thing to throw over this type of look.  It is sunny and warm, but not quite summer yet so the trench keeps me comfortable in the shade and when the sun ducks behind the clouds.
