Kimberly Taylor is a new designer I decided to check out after seeing some cute blouses and shirts on Revolve Clothing.  This fuchsia silk cropped sleeveless shirt really caught my eye in terms of color and of course the shrunken fit.  My boyfriend was not too keen on it when he saw it on the hanger, but after I styled it with an outfit he changed his mind.  This little top is a great pop of color for summer and it is also made from the softest silk.  It will come in handy with all the high waisted bottoms floating around.  Stay tuned for another Kimberly Taylor piece on Fashion Snag.

You all know how much I love Kenny Clothes as evidenced by the shorts and skirt I already purchased from the lineFree People was selling the Guadalajara shorts that I already own in black in a variety of different colors, but they were going quickly.  In fact, they are already completely sold out!  I managed to snag another pair of the same style shorts, but this time in an electric blue color.  My eyes were drawn to the use of bright colors against the blue of the shorts.  The fuchsia Kimberly Taylor top perfectly matches the embroidery in the shorts as well.  I wore my Chanel studded leather clogs yet again.  They go with everything and sometimes I don't feel like sweating when I am putting on my shoes.  Clogs are great in that way.  They are quick and easy for summer.

Kenny Seoul Shorts in Fruit Punch - Snagged off Shopbop.com for $150 Retail

Alexander Wang Cropped Mock Neck Tank in Black - Snagged off Shopbop.com for $245 (Retail: $350)

Shoe sale season is upon us and I have been busy snagging some of my favorite pairs at a discount, including these Alaia python platform sandals in a lovely bottle-green color.  I love python in shoes and I find it to be extremely comfortable and I love it even more in green.  Alaia shoes are always at the top of my wish list as well so when these went on sale marked down from an astronomical $2700 to a still astronomical price of $1320 I decided to take the plunge.  I had been eyeing them for months and months waiting for them to go on sale.  The detailed whipstitching is something that really makes this shoe stand out from the rest.  Besides these Alaia sandals I also bought the Giuseppe Zanotti leopard platform sandals you saw a few posts back.  I try to pick my absolute favorites and not go too crazy because now they are coming out with all the fall shoes.  There is never a shortage of shoes to buy.

These metallic woven high-waisted shorts by Kenny were a full price snag off of Shopbop.  I was attracted to the color of them and pictured them in the Caribbean.  That is how I end up buying so many shorts.  You have seen me in a Kenny Missoni-like skirt as well as the Kenny Guadalajara shorts.  I cannot get enough of Kenny clothes and whenever I see their stuff it is selling out like crazy.  The price point is just right as well.  The shorts are high-waisted, making them perfect for all the crop tops that are out for summer.  They also have a little metallic burnout thing going on in the butt area, which I find to be pretty interesting.  I paired them with this Alexander Wang ribbed crop sweater tank that I snagged for 30% off on Shopbop.  This little sweater is quite impractical, but I love it anyway.  It has an 80s vibe and I like the mock neck.  Understated sexiness is what I think of when I look at it and when you pull it out of the packaging it looks like it might be the perfect sweater for your 8 year old niece.  Alexander Wang keeps doing something right and I think these shorts were the perfect match for his little sweater.

I am most definitely on a Kenny kick lately and I am not ashamed to admit it.  In an effort to only buy what I truly love and can wear over and over again in many ways I ran into this skirt.  It stopped me dead in its tracks.  Actually, Shopbop was selling the skirt, but it was in this different print called multi and it also had a zipper.  The print was not nearly as cute as this Missoni print though.  Kenny even declared that the print and color be called Missoni.  Can you believe it?  So when I was debating whether or not to buy the skirt off Shopbop even though the print wasn't calling my name I came upon some random online boutique offering the same skirt in this print.  I was sold!  I also saw that Planet Blue was selling the Missoni print as well, but they were sold out.  The boutique had a code for 20 percent off and I snagged the skirt.  The skirt is now completely sold out at Jessie Boutique.  So the skirt is definitely not Missoni fabric, but who cares?  It is adorable and made in the USA.  Whoever this Kenny person is who is designing these cute shorts and skirt is a genius!  When I look at the skirt I think of sunshine, butterflies, and bunnies.  It screams summer.

The great thing about this skirt that I haven't mentioned is the fact that when you put it on you don't have to pull it up over your bubble butt.  You can just place it over your butt, pull it forward, and then zip yourself into it.  In that way, the skirt conforms to your body.  Maybe I am the only one who runs into this, but sometimes I buy skirts that fit me in the waist, but don't go over my butt so I have to put them on over my head.  I paired the Kenny skirt with an LnA tee that I wore in the post before because the pearl color was the perfect match for the cream bands in the skirt.  I also wore my Chanel studded clogs yet again.  I really love them.  Things I love I tend to wear out until they are demoted to guinea pig cage cleaning duty clothes.  This cuff is unique in that it has little cutout daisies all over it.  I think it accents the skirt quite well.
