Out From Under
If you want to feel like you are walking around in your comfortable pajamas all day yet still look stylish, you need to snag these pants pronto. They have such a beautiful and colorful pattern. They make me very happy! I paired them with a button front bra top that has a 1940s vibe. This top is under $10 and so versatile. On my feet are sandals I have had for a couple of years now, but they are one of my favorite pairs. I love any type of platform leather sandals that look like they could have come out of the 1970s. This choker necklace was a recent purchase and I adore how unique it is. I like the geometric design and the fact that it is a choker, but different from the ones you see around. I finished off the look with a small cord bracelet and my mini tassel bag in tan suede. When you don't want to wear shorts you will reach for these pants.
I just started an intro acting class and I am loving it. I like to try new things. Sometimes I get really into something and sometimes I find out it isn't for me. I took a hip hop dance class a month or so ago, but I ended up not loving that particular dance studio so I didn't go back. However, that doesn't mean I don't want to find a different dance studio. Now that it is summer I can exercise and move around outside so I might look into it again in the winter. If you have been following my blog for a long time you might remember that I got really into Pilates and Barre for a while. I used to do Pilates pretty religiously or it was like a religion to me. I quit a couple years ago because my neck was constantly getting injured.
The great thing about the acting class is it isn't an exercise class. I will let you know how it turns out as I attend more classes. I wore this outfit to my first class along with a beige army jacket because it was raining and cold in the building. You rarely see me in flats or sneakers, but here I am wearing some buckled slides. I am loving these cropped and frayed light wash jeans too. They are just different from my usual skinny jeans. The bodysuit is under $40 and oh so adorable. I dig the color red right now and stripes. I am also on a nautical kick thus the red nails, red bodysuit, and the anchor necklace.
