(SONOMA Goods for Life Ballet Flats, Mudd Shorts, IZ Byer California Top)

As I said before, I am going to make my blog or website more me and more personal so expect some random postings.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy including them.  This shot was taken with a phone at Garden of the Gods in Colorado.  It was my first time seeing this park and a happy day of exploring for me.  I am wearing absolutely no makeup in this shot by the way.  I don't wear much makeup most days as I like to take really great care of my skin.  However, when I know I am taking photos for my website I usually put on some mascara because my lashes are so light.  I was a little chilly when this shot was taken, but that didn't stop me from getting the photo I wanted.  These ballet flats are a pretty metallic color and they are under $50.  My shorts have stretch and are my favorite color as well.  I snagged them for under $20.  The top is super soft and slinky.  It is off the shoulder with cutouts actually.  You can find it for under $25 here

Here's a little seventies vintage look to get you through the rest of the week!  I am really into seventies denim right now and this pair of jeans is my current favorite.  I paired them with a burgundy ribbed turtleneck that was under $20 and a sherpa corduroy jacket that comes in very handy.  On my feet are my everyday ankle boots.  I am in currently cleaning my closet and selling some pieces so be sure to check out my first eBay listing.  I  will be adding much more to my shop soon so check back often.

I recently had a small bone exposed on my gum that I had to have worked on, but I am so stoic and hardcore that I took these photos afterwards.  I am a pretty easygoing person and I try not to get too worked up about anything.  I figure life is short and I just want to enjoy the ride.  Worrying about the future never solves anything.  So after I had my gums worked on I went for a manicure because you should always treat yourself, right?  I picked this cool Barbie pink color.  I think this is going to be my summer color.  Sometimes I get stuck on one nail color for months.  They think it is funny at the nail salon.  I do that with foods I eat as well, mainly peanut butter toast and eggs.  I eat tons of eggs and a lot of peanut butter.  Afterwards, I decided to visit my favorite horse.  If you've been a longtime reader you may remember my 2010 visit as seen here.  I thought it was time to see the horse again.  He was so loving and kind to me.  He wanted to nuzzle right up.  I am a huge animal lover.  If I had to choose hanging out with people or animals I would choose animals every single time.  I enjoy taking care of them even, right down to the dirty work like cleaning cages, grooming, and bathing.  My outfit was casual because I had a doctor's appointment.  After we shot these photos we headed over to the bread store to pick up my favorite bread and then over to Trader Joe's to pick up Bran Flakes.  Have you had their Bran Flakes cereal before?  It is so good, but I am really into Bran Flakes and steel cut oatmeal so maybe I am biased.  Have a great weekend!
