Vintage 70s Snakeskin Convertible Clutch in Black - Snagged off eBay.com

Wearing some vibrant green colors always puts me in the mood for gardening and out of all my Pleasure Doing Business skirts this color is my absolute favorite.  The side ponytail is something that makes me feel like a kid again.  This vintage purse was a great snag off of eBay and it converts into a clutch as well.  It is black snakeskin and seems to really pop against the green of the skirt.  I am still in the midst of a closet clean-out and in the process I am actually becoming less interested in shopping and clothes.  It seems best to only buy what you really love, no matter what the cost, and wear it to death.  You only need one white silk blouse to really make you happy.  I feel like I am weeding a garden while going through my wardrobe and you know weeding can be really exhausting.  I do think the designer shoes were a good investment because I am not interested in donating any of those at the moment.  I wear them all from time to time and since they were relatively expensive and designer I still enjoy them.

Vintage Stone Bracelet in Peach and Gold - Snagged off eBay.com

This Pleasure Doing Business skirt features a different fabric than the rest of the ones you have seen me wearing.  It is more of a soft knit and it also has a zipper in the back so it is a little bit easier to wiggle into when you are in a hurry.  I also like that this one is a little bit longer, but because it is tight and sexy you don't feel as business-like as you do when wearing a pencil skirt.  I paired it with an LnA tee that features a slanted zipper pocket.  What is really fabulous about this tee is that it is this nice pearl or cream color.  The color comes in handy with all the tribal print shorts and skirts out this season as a lot of them feature a cream color within the pattern instead of boring old white.  It is also softer than some LnA tees from past seasons.  To add a pop of color to the whole ensemble I wore my Charlotte Olympia python pumps in green.  The easiest way to add color for those of us who might be a little hesistant of the trend is to accessorize with a bright colored bag or shoes.  These Charlotte Olympia green pumps are one of my favorite pairs of shoes.  I am a sucker for any green shoes usually.  I bought some vintage jewelry off eBay a while back and this is one of the beautiful stone bracelets I picked up.  I like the peach colored stone against the green pumps and pearl top.

Catherine Malandrino Ruffle Front Halter Top In Noir - Snagged off Gilt.com for $88 (Retail: $280)

Out of all the Pleasure Doing Business skirts my boyfriend said this mauve color was his favorite on me.  If the fuchsia color that I wore a few posts back was a little too wild for you then this light pink version would be a great alternative.  The Pleasure Doing Business skirts are very thick and well-constructed, which is something I never knew until I received them.  They would be great for travel due to their construction as they won't wrinkle very easily.  I know if I ever get out of Denver again and back to the Caribbean my neon green Pleasure Doing Business skirt is coming with me.  I tried to style each color skirt differently.  This look is a little more dressed up with some pumps and a summery silk halter top.

I snagged this Catherine Malandrino silk ruffle front top during a Gilt Groupe final sale over a year ago.  It was hanging in my closet ever since, quite lonely and dejected.  However, when I saw the color of this skirt I knew I wanted to pair it with black and the black top had to be a little different to really show off the skirt.  When I put this halter top on I was pleasantly surprised at how fabulous it looked.  The ruffle front really looks good and adds some volume in the right area for me.  It is really cute and the only reason I hadn't worn it before is because I thought it was too fancy for the places I was going.  I obviously don't feel that way about designer shoes though.  I will wear those anywhere.

I finally found the perfect pair of black suede pumps to complete my shoe collection.  Net-a-Porter sells these cosmic pumps by Jimmy Choo exclusively in black suede and I have to say that they are pretty comfortable.  They are basics and not too flashy, but at the same time they elongate your legs and are beautiful.  Every woman should have some black suede and black patent pumps in her closet, don't you think?  Nothing can beat a pair of pumps because they make your legs look so good.
