This was shot at one of my favorite ponds.  You can always catch a good sunset here.  I felt like wearing my new green cotton skirt.  It has the perfect fit and an edgy feel.  I added a strappy back bra underneath my top for some neat layering.  I've been indulging in cheese platters for dinner more often than I care to admit.  I've also been keeping up with all my dogs and brushing their teeth.  They really hate it, but if you use your fingers instead of a brush they tolerate it.  I just wish they would chew on some bones or something, but they refuse to do that.  We have an upcoming trip to Las Vegas to see my favorite girl.  I am also picking out cabinets, shelves, and drawers for my closet.  When it is all finished I will definitely be posting photos.  I have dreamed about this closet for so long and I cannot believe it will soon become a reality.

We snapped these photos after a delicious lunch in Cherry Creek at True Food Kitchen.  I always enjoy getting the shaved turkey sandwich there.  It is so good.  We spent the weekend walking our dogs and taking in the beautiful weather here in Denver.  The snow is finally starting to melt and the bird feeder is really busy.  I took my scooter out for a joy ride with the dog as well so we could visit some horses down the street.  I also made some delicious pumpkin chocolate chip bars from a mix I found at Trader Joe's.  We ate half the pan on the first day so don't say I didn't warn you.

My outfit is definitely influenced by the seventies.  All I can think about is suede, flares, and fringe.  I snagged this leather braided belt during the Shopbop sale and I am pairing it with all my high waisted flare jeans.  I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I am off to take a bubble bath and finish off the Charlie's Angels series on DVD.
