Tiffany & Co. Dragonfly Ring in Sterling Silver

I have been in the mood for stiletto heels and pumps lately, which is a change for me because usually in the summer I love to wear wedges more often.  The good thing about pumps is they always make your legs look good and extra long.  These Miu Miu suede pumps were a great sale snag at Barneys last winter.  They are this light pink or rose color, but the product description originally said nude.  Either way, I love them.  Suede pumps are easier to dress down for daytime wear than patent leather pumps, which is what I like about them.  These also have a taper toe and they aren't quite as high as some of my other pumps.

I wore them with these beautiful MINKPINK floral shorts that Karina from Tea Leaf Clothing sent me.  I love the fabric on these shorts as it is so soft.  I think for the price point you really cannot go wrong with these.  I have wanted a pair of high-waisted floral shorts for quite some time and these really fit the bill.  Brands like MINKPINK are great because you can find those trendy items you want for summer for a fraction of the price.  Some of you may remember a couple little black dresses by MINKPINK that I wore last summer on Fashion Snag.  The quality is also really nice for the price as far as I am concerned.  I also like BB Dakota for trendy items at a cheaper price.  The crepe fabric on these MINKPINK shorts keeps your legs cool, but the longer length makes you extra comfortable.  Also, these shorts come with a detachable black leather belt.  Sometimes brands and designers use faux leather belts with items, which really bothers me if they are charging a lot for the piece.  You can use the code STARSTYLE for 15% off your order on regular priced items at Tea Leaf Clothing.

I paired the floral shorts with this floral lace racerback tank by LnA.  I remember when LnA came out with all their lace tees and tanks and people were going wild for them.  I am glad that lace is always in style.  This tank is perfect for the 98 degree weather we have been having here.  I like wearing it with just a knit bra underneath.  I liked the floral on floral concept in this outfit due to the floral on both the tank and the shorts.  I think the play on textures is what made it work.  For accessories I went with the girly floral look and added some Chanel pearl earrings and pearl sunglasses as well as a Tiffany & Co. dragonfly ring.  I usually try to keep the jewelry to a minimun, but it felt right in this case to add some pearls due to the floral motif.

Alaia Platform Patent Sandals in Brown - Snagged off theOutnet.com for $473 (Retail: $860) and worn before here with Quail skirt and Joie cardigan

Cynthia Rowley Foggy Floral Skirt in Floral Print - Snagged off Gilt.com for $149 (Retail: $350)

Haute Hippie Rib Racer Back Tank in Blush - Snagged off Shopbop.com for $45.50 (Retail: $65)

Tiffany Diamond Dragonfly Pendant - Gift from Boyfriend and worn before here with Grey Ant dress and Gucci boots

This Cynthia Rowley floral skirt is so beautiful and it glows in these photos.  It is on sale on Gilt right now for $10 less than what I paid.  I think it is worth every penny, especially when you consider the retail price.  These Alaia platforms seemed like the perfect color to go with this skirt.  I kept the outfit simple by pairing it with a blush colored tank from Haute Hippie.  I love a good ribbed tank and I don't think you can ever have too many.  This Tiffany diamond dragonfly pendant was a gift from my boyfriend a few years ago.  I love dragonflies both for their beauty and function.  They can really catch a mosquito fast, saving people from scratching and itching a nasty bite for days.  In other news, I have been eating way too many glazed donuts.  I think it is the sugar high.  This might be why my boyfriend refuses to make me an orange julius before bed.

Grey Ant 2 The Point Mini Dress in Stone Print - snagged off Revolve Clothing

Madison Marcus Black Blazer - snagged off Revolve Clothing

Black Danskin Tights

Gucci Killin Peep Toe Boots - snagged at a Saks in the Cherry Creek Mall in Denver

Tiffanys Diamond Dragonfly Necklace - Christmas gift a few years ago from the boyfriend

I found out that I pose better with a little bubbly in my system, hence the title.  I rarely drink, but we found this champagne that contains both my first and middle name, Jacqueline Rose, and we had to try it out.  I adore this dress because every other strapless dress I find falls down on me or I find myself constantly pulling it up.  Anyone else have this problem or is it just me?  This dress actually stays put on my small chest.  This was my first Grey Ant purchase and I will definitely be back for more of their strapless dresses.  I stalked this dress on Revolve for a while because I fell in love with the print and the ruching, but the $500 price tag left a bad taste in my mouth (unlike the champagne).  Finally, over Christmas I snagged it for $77.  I think that was my best snag ever, but don't quote me on that one.

I found this little blazer, which has cool puffy shoulders, on Revolve last summer and it has proved to be quite the versatile little piece.  I have worn it over floral camisoles with jeans and ballet flats.  I have also worn it over a flowy silk print tunic with jeans and heels.  I call it my princess cut blazer.  Do you ever come up with names for your clothes?  I like how the boots flow seamlessly with the tights in this outfit.

This is our second time using the new lights and I have to say I sorta like 'em.  They make me feel like I am on set or something.  They were a bit intimidating at first, but now they feel like a burst of sunshine in winter.
