I was going for a more sophisticated look with this outfit.  I always enjoy trying new things and putting together outfits no matter what the occasion.  Sometimes trousers suit my mood, especially when I get sick of wearing black opaque tights.  These Missoni pants are very thick and warm and extremely well made.  They are not the most flattering pants in the world, but I really don't care.  They are quite comfortable.  The print is pretty wild of course and would definitely make a man wonder what the hell you are wearing.  I was wondering if this outfit would repel a man, but I'm not sure.  Anyway, I got the pants off the Outnet for a bottom barrel price as usual and they have little zippers at the ankles, but I left them zipped up for now and tucked into the ankle straps of my Alaia platform sandals. You have seen me wearing Missoni flare pants before on Fashion Snag that had more of a seventies vibe.

I paired the printed Missoni knit bottoms with a Karen Zambos Vintage Couture silk camisole in green.  This top has been hanging in my closet since 2009 with the tags still attached and I am glad it finally got to see the light of day.  It is a beautiful green color, totally on trend for spring.  It was soft and luxurious and I layered it with my favorite Only Hearts lace bralette.  The Tracy Reese leather jacket complete with crawling ivy embroidery was a piece I snagged off Gilt Groupe back in 2009 during a final sale.  It is an absolutely gorgeous jacket and it also has zippers at the sleeves that you can unzip.  I love this jacket, but I never found the perfect outfit for it to go with until now.  It is lined in silk and the lining itself is so pretty.  Tracy Reese really makes nice leather jackets.  The color is different from anything in my closet as well.  I hope you like the outfit as it is a step outside of my usual comfort zone, but I like to experiment all the time.

I just realized that the colors in this outfit are perfect for Easter!

Saturday night was sushi night and boy was it windy.  I had shorts on underneath this tunic dress so the wind didn't stand a chance.  I felt quite luxurious going out to dinner in my all silk ensemble.  I like nice fabrics like silk and cashmere because they feel so soft against the skin.  This beautiful silk trench had been sitting in my closet since November and I finally cut the tags off of it and wore it out.  It was one of those impulse buys that you usually regret.  I am so in love with it now and I am keeping it on rotation by hanging it on my clothing rack.  These boots really need no explanation.  Since we were going downtown I needed something that had walking potential and the tread on these Camilla Skovgaard boots proved to be the perfect solution for the dark streets.  I snagged these Wolford rendezvous tights on RueLaLa and they are so beautiful.  Believe it or not, just like the trench, it was the first time I wore them.  Wolford knows how to make gorgeous tights.  I can see this IRO silk tunic being worn in so many different ways.  I am so happy my boyfriend bought it for me.  I am really into this shirtdress trend and before I had the tights on I was thinking of belting it.  Maybe next time I wear it I will belt it.  The Avon vintage necklace was a great steal on Ebay.  I have been on the hunt for stone rings and I saw the stone necklace and thought it was right on trend as well.  Well, the sun just poked its head out today and I am going to take advantage of it.  I hope you all had a great weekend!
