These photos are from our last full day in Las Vegas.  I guess this is a little bit of a travel diary post.  We tried to take some snapshots here and there as we were wandering around Las Vegas.  A go-to travel look that never fails me is the combination of opaque tights and some sort of shorts.  I wore these suede lace-up ones which are really well-made.  They are actually made in Italy.  I am trying to buy less items and focus on only buying the highest quality pieces or those standout pieces that catch my eye.  I already have more than enough clothes, shoes, and bags so what I add to my closet has to be extra special now.  This sweater is old, but I don't believe I have photographed it before for the blog.  It is a unique piece thanks to the open knit detailing and it is extremely cozy.  Again, I believe this is one of those really cool pieces that I think is different from the sweaters I already own.

I am wearing my Valentino fringe boots again.  These are from last year and you have seen them before on the blog.  I must tell you that Valentino makes some of the most comfortable boots and espadrilles.  I received many comments on these boots while in Las Vegas.  The Chloe bag is from a few years ago, but I still love it so much even today.  The leather jacket is also a piece from last year, but a black leather motorcycle jacket is a classic piece that only gets better with age.  In one photo I am wearing a more casual look that I didn't get to photograph fully, but it features a Hye Park and Lune army jacket that you saw me wearing a few weeks ago in a post.  Underneath it I am wearing a ribbed long sleeve from Rag & Bone from last year that I am not sure if I wore before on a blog posting.  Either way, this was an on the go sort of posting from me and I hope you are enjoying the more candid travel photos.

This is my daytime look for my second day in Las Vegas.  One of my favorite standby outfits consists of pairing denim shorts with tights.  It keeps you warm while still allowing you to wear your summer shorts.  You can't go wrong with that.  It is perfect for the chilly, but not cold weather.  On top I wore a sparkly gold metallic long sleeve top.  This was one top my boyfriend suggested looked like something you would wear in Las Vegas so I packed it in my suitcase.  I thought the dressy feel of the top was great against the casual denim cut-off shorts.  On top I wore a leather motorcycle jacket with silver hardware.  I love to mix silver and gold in my ensembles.  The bag and the fringe boots have gold hardware and the metallic top has gold flecks.  Many people in Las Vegas commented on these low fringe leather boots.  They are so comfortable.  Valentino makes some really comfortable shoes!

We hit up Crystals in Las Vegas for some luxury shopping.  It is the best mall I have ever been to because it isn't that crowded and it has the best stores.  I might have snagged a little something something from Louis Vuitton.  We also had In-N-Out Burger for lunch.  It was my first time eating there.  I have to admit I was expecting something pretty magical from their burgers after everything I heard on the Internet about them.  I thought their burgers were good, but not any better than the Wendy's burger I usually get.  I used to love McDonald's when I was younger, but after a few bad experiences with them I moved on to Wendy's when I need a fast food fix.

My outfit was bohemian and retro inspired.  This paisley print wrap crop top was one of my favorite summer buys.  It is 100% cotton so it is perfect for the heat.  I wore the same Celine leather hobo bag.  I actually got lotion from my legs on this bag and it looked like it was going to stain the leather darker, but by the end of the day you couldn't even tell that I had gotten lotion on it.  I stuck the bag between my legs on the ride over to Crystals and even though I had put lotion on hours before I guess some of it rubbed off of my legs on to the bag.  I was pretty horrified at first, but this saddle leather can really take a beating.  It will only get better with wear.

These shorts are 100% linen and one of my favorite pairs for summer.  They are definitely a classic pair of shorts that I will have for years to come.  They are more classy and dressy than my usual cut-off denim shorts.  I like that about them.  I also wore my wooden bangle yet again and the Valentino espadrille sandals.  Like I have said before, I am a notoriously light packer so I make sure I only bring things I am really going to wear.  I also make sure that one pair of shoes can do double or triple duty.  The same goes for accessories like jewelry or bags.
