We headed over to the Cherry Creek mall to snap some photos on a rare shopping trip.  I am not that fond of the mall, especially around Christmas time.  He snapped a photo in front of the Louis Vuitton store, but soon a security guard told us we couldn't take photos in front of the store fronts in the mall. Okaaaaaaaay?  Then we headed over to Saks and I made a beeline for the 40% off shoe display and found these wonderful Gucci peep toe boots.  The leather fits like a glove around your feet.  My boyfriend bought them for me and they made up for the weird security guard.  Then we decided to have a sushi lunch at a nice restaurant inside the mall.  Afterward, I picked up my favorite lip conditioner at MAC.  The guy working there wouldn't let us take a photo in front of the display because he claimed people sell the photos online.  It was one strange photo taking day!  After that, we picked up some SmartWool socks at Nordstrom and split.  SmartWool socks from the men's section are the best socks I have ever had.  I love them.

We ventured over to North Cherry Creek and checked out Crate & Barrel.  We love to cook and picked up some more accessories for our kitchen and then took some photos outside with a friendly dog.  I love how he is looking wherever I am looking in the photos.  So cute.  I then gazed into the Betsey Johnson store for a little while.  Betsey Johnson was my first love when it came to designer things.  I fell for all the cute dresses, but soon got burned out because it seemed like the dresses didn't really change all that much from season to season.  I still love a little Betsey in my life though.

For this outfit I wanted to make the fringe skirt a little less dressy so instead of tucking in a top like I would normally do, I decided to just leave this turtleneck sweater untucked and let the fringe peek out underneath.  I wanted to toughen up the look so I added my Fendi studded ankle boots, which are outrageously comfortable thanks to the platform.  I carried this Zac Posen bag that has such a cute bow on it and a longer strap to use if desired.  I needed a long necklace to top off the look so I decided to finally wear my Chanel necklace from Barcelona.  To top it all off I pulled out my trusty Jessica Simpson peacoat.  I love the stitching on the back of it.  I switched to my Ugg Cardy boots near the end of our excursion to combat the snowy streets.  I rolled them down which I think makes them look cuter.  Essentially, I wore three shoes in one day.  A three in one post =)

Happy New Year!

White Christmas

Yellow Tank Top - Diesel (snagged in Munich, Germany at the Diesel store)

Black Lace Crop Top - Etsy (Black Market Baby/Audrey Cantwell)

Black Faux Fur Reversible Coat - Vera of Deep in Vogue (Gruhche on Etsy who is my favorite etsy designer)

Black Leggings - Sass & Bide PVC Black Rats (snagged off Shopbop)

Electric Blue Booties - Giuseppe Zanotti (snagged off Net-A-Porter)

Diamond Star Earrings - Tiffanys (Gift from boyfriend from a previous Christmas)

Half Moon Cuff - Chanel (Gift from boyfriend at a Chanel in Paris, France)

Merry Christmas my dear readers! I hope everyone is having an awesome time this holiday season.  I lost one of my guinea pigs last week so I took some time off from blogging.  He is in piggy heaven now, but I miss him so much.  It is not the same without Oreo in the guinea pig family.  He was the spunkiest guy and he looked just like a skunk.  Check out my 'Poodles and Pigs' page in the sidebar to see photos.  I want to thank everyone who comforted me on Twitter.

I loved this yellow top from the moment I spotted it in the Diesel store.  The color is so gorgeous and it is slightly sheer.  I think black lace looks amazing over yellow.  I wasn't quite sure about these Sass & Bide leggings when they first arrived a month ago, but now I am in love with them.  Something about the electric blue in these booties was begging me to pair it with this bright yellow tank.  I decided to give my hair some extra special attention and put it in a side ponytail.  I also had to add these star earrings for Christmas and the half moon cuff.

Wishing everyone a peaceful and Happy New Year!

Velvet Baroness

Velvet Jacket - Elizabeth and James

White Tank - Elizabeth and James

Black Lace Bralette - Hanky Panky

Black Back Zip Pants - BCBG

Necklace - Buckle

Lace Up Boots -  Givenchy

This velvet jacket is my favorite item in my wardrobe right now next to my Givenchy lace-up peep toe boots.  The lining of the jacket is so silky and feels so good against my skin.  There is nothing I love more than a form-fitting ribbed white tank top and the extra low scoop back is just the icing on the cake.  I got this necklace in a store in the mall a while back and I was amazed at how great it looks with this jacket.  The jacket changes colors and glows depending on the light.  I recently visited my favorite hair dresser Shirley and she trimmed a few inches off my hair.  I think it looks really nice and trust me, it grows like a weed so it will be down to my butt again in no time at all.  Black lace bralettes are all I am wearing right now.  I remember in high school when someone would wear a black bra with a white top everyone would be talking about her and now it seems like this is what everyone is wearing and I definitely don't object.  I love how fashion evolves.
