I felt like wearing some beachy garb to make the most of the remaining summer days so I took a spin through my racks and found this Antik Batik caftan dress. I originally bought this dress for my trip to Las Vegas, but somehow it did not make the cut when I was packing. Nonetheless, I am in love with it. It is semi-sheer and 100% cotton fabrication, making it perfect for a hot day. The turquoise green embellishment down the arms and v-neck placket add that extra touch that takes a garment from okay to fabulous. I accessorized it with this awesome vintage snake choker you last saw here. This is one of my favorite vintage pieces. When I look for vintage I usually am interested in jewelry or handbags. Sometimes I find a special dress, but it is difficult to shop online for vintage due to sizing issues. This gold serpent choker came with a matching serpent bracelet which coils up the arm. I thought it was a nice touch to accent the sequin parts of the dress. I unbuttoned the placket all the way to feature the snake choker even more.
On my feet are some of my favorite sandals from Balmain that you have never seen before on the blog. They feature mesh, studs, and chain detailing. What more could you ask for in a shoe? I find them very sexy and they are the perfect color to go with all your white dresses for summer. They are also extremely comfortable because the heel isn't quite as high as some of my other sandals. I snagged them about four years ago for 70% off. What a steal. In my hand is a braided and woven leather clutch from Bottega Veneta. The work that went into making this clutch is evident. The navy blue color is a welcome change from my other handbags.
