I am trying to wear all my shorts before summer is over because I am not looking forward to fall and winter.  Summer has always been my favorite season.  Snow is something I do not welcome.  I think I have seen enough of it from living in Fargo, North Dakota for most of my life.  Luckily, winters in Colorado are mild compared to North Dakota winters.  I purchased these silk track shorts by 3.1 Phillip Lim as soon as they popped up on the Net-a-Porter website.  I wore them with the waistband folded over because I felt like they were a little long for my tastes.  After I wear them enough times I can always turn them into pajama shorts so I consider them to be a good investment.  Believe it or not, it was my first 3.1 Phillip Lim purchase and will certainly not be the last.  I ordered this Grace Sun tank off Shopbop a year or so ago and it hung in my closet until now.  I was trying to find something besides a white tank to pair with these shorts and I saw the red and blue print of this Grace Sun top and thought it would be the perfect solution.  These Anzie pearl hoops seemed to go well with the chandelier print of the tank and I liked the pearly white next to the red.  I grabbed my Miu Miu black satin pumps, which have been sitting around in my closet since April, to finish off the outfit.  I really need to rotate my shoes more because I love the front strap detail on these.
