For another cold day here in Denver, Colorado I styled a preppy outdoor look featuring burgundy suede leggings and a chunky knit sweater layered over a violet silk button down.  The accents I like most are the exposed collar and the way the silk blouse peeks out from under the jumper.  Topped off with chunky black ankle boots, a tweed coat, and an Échapeau, I was ready to brave the chilly air. Givenchy Lace-Up Wedges

Givenchy Lace Up Wedge Bootie - Snagged off for $445 ( Retail: $795)

Sunner Parker Romper in Hunter - Snagged off for $78 (Retail: $260)

Isharya Filigree Daisy Cuff in Gold - Gift from Boyfriend off

My wardrobe should be filled with hunter green colored things.  I found this romper a couple months ago in the 70% off section at Shopbop.  Admittedly I am a little leary about some of the items in that section and the reasons why they end up there, but I took a chance on this silky little romper.  It did not disappoint me.  The color is probably the best color out there for me to be wearing due to my skin tone and hair.  I paired it with my very comfortable Givenchy lace up wedges and Isharya gold daisy cuff.  You will never see me wearing a million rings on my fingers because it really gets in the way of washing my hands.  I like to wear bracelets a lot though.

On the blog I don't always smile in my photos, but if you met me in real life you would see that I smile and laugh most of the time.  The smile in these photos takes me back to long ago days spent jumping on my friend Therese's huge trampoline while listening to CDs from her stereo.  Therese got a job in high school about a year before I did and she bought that trampoline.  We loved to blast the music as loud as possible to annoy passersby and neighbors.  Therese got annoyed because all I wanted to play was Celine Dion's Falling Into You album.  Those were the days.
