I styled a grunge model off duty look featuring Saint Laurent combat boots, a leather army jacket, and a striped sweater. You can re-create this look with items from your own closet or shop the entire look below. I am also wearing black leggings, which are a basic must have item. The Chanel boy bag finishes off the ensemble. Shop the entire outfit below. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to see all my videos.
Here I am in pants again! Can you believe it? I styled this look around my new Saint Laurent combat boots. I have really been getting into flat boots lately. They are perfect for Denver and Colorado in general. I know they don't add miles to the legs, but when the temperatures are dropping you must keep warm. Pumps expose a lot of foot and make me feel cold when I am outside. These combat boots are super comfortable and I love the zippers on either side. They add some edge to the regular combat boot style. I can't wait until these boots get really worn in and beaten up. You can see my another pair of combat boots I recently style from Giuseppe Zanotti here.
I went for a model off duty grunge look and wore Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent leggings with the boots. These leggings are a little thicker and warmer than your average leggings. I snagged them a long time ago off Gilt Groupe. Be sure to join if you haven't because they have lots of great deals. The leggings have a zipper up the back which you can't see. I love re-wearing older pieces from my closet. I can't find these exact leggings anymore, but I did link to a similar pair in the text link underneath the last photo. I also put many options in the shopping carousel below my writing.
On top I wore a navy and white striped Equipment sweater I snagged off The Outnet for 60% off. I swear I find so many fabulous Equipment pieces on there. This sweater is a cashmere and cotton blend, perfect for a slightly chilly day. I consider this sweater as well as the leggings to be basic must have pieces for your closet. You can style both in so many different ways. I like how this sweater is longer so it works with leggings. I have linked to similar sweaters, including Equipment ones in the photo carousel below the writing so be sure to check them out. You can shop any of the items by clicking on the photo of the one you are interested in.
On top I am wearing a leather Current/Elliott army jacket. My boyfriend couldn't believe it when I told him this jacket was leather. He thought it was cotton. The jacket is actually made of a really nice thin, lightweight leather. It is slightly oversized and great for layering. Unfortunately, I cannot find the leather jacket anymore, but they do make cotton ones that are very similar so I have linked to those below. To top everything off I wore my original Chanel boy bag. The chain on this bag works so well with the edgy grunge look.
